Brewers 2, Dodgers 1. The one run stays there.

NLCS Game 1 is final. Brewers 2, Dodgers 1. The lean was Milwaukee, 52. It cashed. Skubal went five innings, five hits, two earned, seven strikeouts. Turang homered. Luis Lara drove in the lead run. We did not write the total. A one-run night is not an over.

Saturday closed the other series

Guardians 2, White Sox 0. Cleveland wins 3–2. The lean was Cleveland, 53. It cashed. Williams threw 5.2 innings, one hit, 12 strikeouts. Ramírez homered. Not 56. A shutout does not write Milwaukee, and it does not write Tampa Bay.
