Jacksonville State 27, Kennesaw State 26. We did not write it.

Wednesday college was two games we did not put on a card. Jacksonville State 27, Kennesaw State 26. FIU 22, New Mexico State 3. Reporting is the score. It is not a hit, and it is not a miss. We do not backfill a cover for a night that was never written.

Why a 55 does not write Thursday

Troy 55, Southern Miss 34 was Tuesday. That was also reporting. A 55 is one night. It is not a law for the next kick, and it is not a reason to treat every Thursday total as live. Thursday’s four games have not started, and the visitors are not the ones an old note had. Sam Houston is at Liberty. Missouri State is at Western Kentucky. South Alabama is at Arkansas State. South Florida is at UTSA. Western Kentucky is not at South Alabama. Arkansas State is not at South Florida. UTSA is not at Florida State. None of the four is a ticket. A ranked home can separate when we actually write it. A logo is not 72. Seventy-two is a smash, or it is too loud.

The other two college grids

College hockey’s opening weekend already ran. We did not grade a box, so that weekend is a pass. Not a hit. Not a miss. Thursday college hockey has not started: New Hampshire at Merrimack, Niagara at Notre Dame, Ferris State at Western Michigan, Lake Superior at Lindenwood. No score. No player. A 51 is not a ticket. Not 70. College baseball was checked the same morning. It is still dark. Omaha closed June 22. Nothing to stamp until February. A fall exhibition is not a Friday we write.
