Louisville had the lead in the fourth. The public already owned those moneylines. Afternoon first ticket has to be the break — the points, the total, the half — or we are just reprinting the chalk.

Rules we carry

Into Saturday and every week after. Conditions, not laws.

1. 01

   Afternoon first ticket is the break

   Noon and 3:30 ET are the public windows. Steam hits in the last 60–90 minutes. Ranked home ML is what everyone already has — Texas A&M at 72 was the public number, and Kentucky won 31–21. That is a condition on the first ticket, not a law that ranked homes lose. Alabama 50–36 cashed the ML. Lead the day with the dog, the total, or the half. The moneyline is the last read. Night is Prime Time when the building is actually the number.

2. 02

   Heat adds visitor scoring

   Kentucky still scored in College Station. Heat is a rushing tax, not a 17-point home lock. Growth: keep the visitor’s points on the card. Cap the home margin. The under can still be the first ticket.

3. 03

   Last four minutes are remaining volume

   Vanderbilt’s only lead was the last play. A 50-point under that is 52 with four minutes left is not dead — and it is not a lock. Growth: recast the total as remaining, the same way baseball rebuilds names still in the box.

4. 04

   Travel grows the first half

   Cross-country 3:30 ET and an 8 PT Big Ten visitor are conditions. Growth: the half under is the first ticket on those kicks. The visitor still has a second half. Add the stall. Do not delete the side.

5. 05

   Cleared grows a shade, not a smash

   Leavitt went doubtful to off-the-report in 48 hours. Growth: start the name, add a floor tax, keep the home dog in the building. Ready is volume you still have to earn.

6. 06

   The offensive line is the game

   Louisville walking in with multiple OL out is a condition. Growth: SMU’s pass is the offense because the run is already taxed. Names on the depth chart do not block — the thrower inherits the volume.

7. 07

   The first real game writes the ticket

   Florida 128 points against FAU and Campbell do not travel to Jordan-Hare. Oregon 84–0 does not write Saturday. Import the opponent, not the scoreboard. The first real building is where the total gets a floor — and Florida still scored 44. Condition, not a sit.

8. 08

   Grade winner, spread, and total separately

   Vanderbilt ML cashed; the under missed. Alabama ML cashed; the under missed. UCLA ML cashed; −14 pushed. A winner that cashes is not a shape hit. A 14-point win on −14 is a push — do not stamp it as a cover. Write the condition. Do not write a law.

9. 09

   A 3-point card is not a break

   Northwestern 23–20 became 41–7. SMU 31–28 became 41–31 the other way. If the break is real, write the dog, the total, or the half. A 23–20 is a guess you dressed up as research.

    72% is a smash. Write it like one or don’t.

    Texas A&M ML at 72 lost. Notre Dame ML at 78 cashed. Confidence is a claim. Afternoon ranked homes do not get 70s because the logo is ranked. Night homes get 70s when the building is the number and the other side is empty. If it is a lean, write 54.

    Night is Prime Time when the building is the number

    Ole Miss 32–24: home night, cleared-not-100%, the building was the number. Auburn 39–44: home dog, first real road, the side was not the break. Prime Time is a window, not a permission slip to lead with every moneyline.

    Conditions, not laws

    Week 3 is stamped. Afternoon first ticket is the break — that is a condition on the public number, not a law that ranked homes lose. Night is Prime Time when the building is the number. 72% is a smash or it is too loud. We are still learning. Nothing is set in stone.

13. 13

    Week 4 is the desk

    Thursday opens it. Friday is Northwestern at Indiana. Saturday noon is the break — Texas at Tennessee, Illinois at Ohio State. Afternoon is the points, not the home logo. Night can lead with the side at 54, not 72. No confirmed inactives. If it is unconfirmed, shade it. Week 3 stays on the tape.

    A dead half is not a dead game

    Friday’s half under cashed. The game under missed in the fourth. Saturday noon numbers stand — Texas 27–24, Illinois 27–17. Grade the half and the total apart. Do not flip today’s unders because the half cashed last night.

15. 15

    The rest of Friday was not on the card

    Clemson 24, Cal 10. Army 21, Temple 17. UAB 24, Navy 20. Rutgers 58, Howard 7. We do not invent a ticket from games we did not write.

16. 16

    A ranked home can separate

    Saturday noon and afternoon: dog points missed at Ohio State and Georgia and cashed when the dog actually won (Florida, Iowa). Do not take the points just because the window is day. Do not lay 72 because the side cashed. The model stops shrinking every double-digit home into a one-score, and it stops forcing the under on a live favorite.

17. 17

    A push is not a hit

    Texas +3 won by 3. Iowa’s half was exactly 17. Georgia’s under missed by two. Exact is a push. Two is a miss. We do not stamp either as a cover.

18. 18

    Live kicks stay on the overlay

    Week 4 featured is tape. Friday of Week 5 is reporting: Pitt 35–33, Liberty 30–14, Northwestern 34–13. Saturday is reporting: Georgia 38–14, Alabama 56–23, Ohio State 31–14, Missouri 45–17. A ranked home can separate. Florida’s logo did not. We do not backfill a cover we did not freeze.
